Chairman's update

August 2005

Greetings friends in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,

Praise be to the Lord Jesus for the way He is allowing all the aspects of the ministry to progress forward. Having directed conferences for nearly twenty years I know first hand of the many blessings to youth and families who attend a Bible conference. By God's grace our 1st youth conference, July 4 - 8, 2005 ranks among the best of my career as director.

Thirty days since the conference, we have continued to remember the many blessings of the Lord. We were blessed to have two pastors who told us about King Jesus and how we are to live for Him! We had a wonderful kitchen staff Our music team is to be commended. We had nearly 100% participation in meals, classes and activities. What a blessing to see the enthusiasm of the campers. It was a blessing to hear campers and staff desiring to return, Lord willing, in 2006. I am thankful for the visionary board of CBC. The Lord willing, we will have conferences for grades 5 - 12 in 2006. Details once finalized will be announced! 

Don't forget to mark your calendar for our Fall conference, November 4 & 5,2005. Details coming soon. This conference is for youth, singles, and families. There will be breakout sessions for each group.

Thank you to brothers and sisters in Christ who have spoken words of encouragement, who are faithfully praying for the ministry and have given financially to support the work.
